Santa Lea lies between Edilia I and Rosa Maria I, which border it on the south and north sides. Santa Lea lies in an area of rich potential. It has easy access via a good condition paved road. This road heads westward to a small intrusive formation that is very close to Santo Domingo Los Ocotes, the town in the middle of the project. Further west is the Rio Las Canas, where gold is waiting to be recovered.
